This course is 4 sessions online at intervals of 2wks on 19th June and 3rd, 17th and 31st July from 10am - 1pm UK time Over the 4 sessions we will cover techniques to help you unlock you creativity and create and abstract embroidery Week 1 - Applique and manipulating fabrics - learn how to create a textile collage to kick start your piece Week 2 - Couching - play with both traditional methods and more contemporary ways to attach thick threads and hard objects to your piece Week 3 - Beads & Sequins - discover fun ways to attach beads and sequins to create texture and height to your piece Week 4 - Textured Stitches - discover textured stitches and find ways to add detail to your work Come along and let go of all expectations while you embrace the chaos
